updating on a semesterly basis...XD haha well, im not surprised at all...hehe
So, im studying in brisbane at the moment. Wasnt supposed to come here until next year but life is full of surprises..haha~
Taylor's suddenly upgrade to university status so my twinning program was terminated~thats why have to come here one year early...i was so unprepared for this~~T_T i miss home soooo much~ i thought i had one more year to enjoy back in msia...then suddenly, this happened...
Sigh, had to leave all my frens and family so early...so sad... not to mention living in australia is so expensive~!!
Its still so surreal, even after a month here...i still cant blive im actually here at times..
Things are not bad here except for the currency exchange n the stupid msia-ish summer weather that has yet to dissappear even thought its officially the month of autumn...lol
I'm living in an apartment 15 mins walk away from uni with three of my frens from Taylor's, they came over with me too.
And now i mostly eat at home everyday bcuz eating out here is mega super expensive~ so its either home-cooked food(recipe courtesy of my mom, although it doesnt taste as good...hehe cooking is hard~! I appreciate my mom so much more now~lol) or easy stuff like sandwich and instant pasta or noodles.
So that means......regular grocery shopping~!!(which is troublesome cuz the supermarket is far away...T^T so tiring)
People here are quite friendly so its quite pleasant...not to mention quite different if u compare to SOME msians' shitty attitude...lol
And one of the things i still cant get used to is that cars actually stop for you at zebra crossings~!(granted, its the law but still...!) It's still so weird for me...haha
One things that annoys me though it the sun rises waaaaayyyyy too early~! 5am+ already like 10am+.. i wake up thinking that its almost 9-10 at least then i check my phone its only freaking 5+~! like wth...messed up my biological clock much??(not even counting my jet lag....=.=)
All the shops here close so early its not even fair~! lol
But the number one thing that annoys me so much until i feel like getting a gun license is the avery species here~!! gaaahhhhh~like wth~!!!>< im starting to miss the stray cats and dogs back home dy(which btw, there isnt any here) compared to the birds here...
I thought the birds back home was noisy....turns out, compared to the birds here they can go ahead n sell concert tickets dy omg....
SUPER DUPER MEGA ULTRA ANNOYING LOUD LOUD LOUD voices aside....they even want to take over the roosters' job~!
5am+ already busy squacking horrendously n LOUDLY nonstop. Right.Outside.My.Window.....=.=
And then~! and then~! miraculously~! Stops at 8-9am+.......=.= really ta ma de....
Make sooooo much noise at the time when ppl are working hard to catch a few more moments to sleep...=.= grrr
I wear earplugs every morning oso i can still hear those stupid annoying noises really omg fml lar....=.=
So, have i gotten the point across that the avery species here are from the anti-sleep factions n each one deserves to be shot until they learn to shut up through natural selection n evolution?
If you haven't got the point go shoot yourself~=D
But, one good thing here is that there are lots of good-looking ppl that i can
Oh and another thing worth celebrating is that I have finally gotten myself an awesome phone plan with my dream phone~^^ the plan is abit more expensive than i would've liked but i get tons of credit so i can call home anytime i want~~^^ hehe~
Oh and im also taking a japanese course this semester so thats awesome too~^^ its like a dream come true~~hehe
n i also got to meet alot of fellow anime fans like me since i joined the anime club~its soooo awesome~^^ cuz its rare to meet an anime fan back home...for me anyways...lol
Learning to cook is also a plus point....although it's super tiring~n its so hard to make it taste right!(not that my cooking is inedible but its still not as good, i guess experience really does count~) I dunno how my mum does it~i love her even more now~~she's so awesome~=D
Hmm...i guess thats about all...i've exhausted everything i could write at the moment..lol
Dun be surprised the next time i update is during semester 2...haha
